Lodge Meetings

The Lodge normally meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, and, in keeping with the tradition of most Edinburgh Lodges, closes down for a short recess (or "closed season") in the summer months. We start our "open season" from the fourth Wednesday in September and then continue on a second and fourth basis through until the fourth Wednesday in April when the lodge closes down until September again. The only deviation from this is December, when the Installation is held on the first Saturday of that month. We do not meet on the fourth Wednesday in December as WBro Santa Claus might have difficulty in attending!

The 'Latest Events' list shows forthcoming meetings, deputations etc. For all events, check the Events calendar.

Although the lodge might be closed for "work" during the summer, the lodge-rooms are not, and as you will have noted, if you have clicked in the map link, the lodge is situated very close to Murrayfield Rugby Ground. This has lead to lasting friendships when (masonic) supporters have stumbled across our premises and have resulted in reciprocal visits. Please DO CHECK that we will be open before turning up, and PLEASE be aware that the laws of Scotland do not allow bone-fide drinking in Clubs (as our lodge is licensed) and everyone MUST be signed in.

You are, however assured of a very warm welcome during the working season and an equally warm one in the closed season, but in the latter it would be advisable to check before arriving. We do let the hall out and I doubt that you would merge with a wedding party in your bobble hat and with your national flag spread across your shoulders.
