The billet (or summons) archive is by no means complete, but does contain enough to give an idea of how they have changed over the years, and give an insight into the workings of the Lodge. Note that in  billets of the 8th of November 1951, the 3rd of November 1959 and again on the 19th of December 1959, extra pages had to be inserted to cope with the number of petitions for admission.

In 1940 a decision was taken that no further billets would be issued until the cessation of hostilities.
